They’re Back…. UK diva Hilary Mwelwa and Victor Redwood, aka Hil St. Soul. have released “Black Rose”, their third CD on the Shanachie Entertainment label. This project is the highly anticipated follow up to 2006′s critically acclaimed “SOULidified”.

“Black Rose”, continues the duo’s raise to soul star status. You can hear the maturation of their music, which remains faithful to today’s beat driven sound. Hilary’s voice seems to have gotten smoother, if that’s possible. Hil St Soul’s emerging strength seems to be mid-tempo rhythms and silky ballads, which dominate this CD.
